GGG40 ductile iron is a very common material in European standard DIN 1693

It has high strength, plasticity, toughness, wear resistance, severe thermal and mechanical shock resistance, high or low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability

Tensile strength ≥ 400 Mpa.

Yield strength ≥ 250 Mpa.

Elongation ≥ 15%.

No impact requirement.

Hardness ofGGG40

The hardness of this ductile cast iron grade is between 130-180 Brinell hardness.

Density of GGG40

The density of this ductile iron grade is about 7.3 g/cubic centimeter, or 7.3 kg/liter.

Production Process

We have updated our production line for making cast iron gearbox housing. Our production process include resin sand molding line, shell molding line, green sand casting and lost wax investment casting production process.

Machining Workshop

We have full set line of machining facilities, various CNC equipment and Machining Center can meet customers’ requirements. After machining, the casting parts will be completed. Then, they will be inspected and packed for delivery and shipment.
