When casting castings, how should steel foundry manufacturers control the quality of steel castings? After a long period of research, we can control it through the following aspects:
(1) Control of mechanical properties:When the casting is poured, the molten steel of the same furnace can be used, and the sample needs to be made into a standard sample after the furnace heat treatment process and mechanical processing, and then the mechanical properties of the test can be carried out to see if it can achieve the data of the steel casting processing.
(2) Control of chemical composition:In order to ensure that the chemical composition of the steel castings is qualified, the steel foundry manufacturers will perform a rapid pre-furnace analysis of the molten steel liquid before the pouring begins. Pouring will be carried out only after the composition is qualified, otherwise the composition of the molten steel liquid will be adjusted, and the pouring will be carried out after the composition is qualified, and then the direct emission spectrometer will be used for rapid analysis before the furnace.
(3) For size control:Going wrong at any step in the process from the drawing to the model and then to the casting can cause errors and change the dimensions of the casting. Each of these processes is an indispensable part.
(4) For the control of surface quality:Before the casting leaves the factory, the steel casting factory manufacturer will test the casting, and the steel casting must not have cracks, cold insulation or shrinkage defects that affect the use performance.
